Pastor Tony Zlot was raised in the small town of Three Hills, Alberta. Growing up as a staff kid at Prairie Bible Institute, he heard and responded to the gospel at an early age. After attending Prairie Bible Institute, he headed to the work force where he spent 25 years in construction and the oil field. As Tony became more active in the church he discovered a love for the church and the teaching of God’s Word.
It became clear to Tony that he needed to be better equipped for ministry. Through the ministry of John MacArthur and Grace To You, The Master’s Seminary became the obvious choice for this training. Tony attended TMS from the fall of 2012 to the spring of 2016.
Through a work of providence Tony received a call to pastor Bowmanville Baptist Church in May, 2017. He, his wife Crystal and their six children packed up and moved to Ontario.
Tony is committed to the absolute sufficiency and supremacy Scripture and believes that these attributes are best revealed through verse by verse expository preaching. It’s is in the preaching of the Word that Jesus Christ exercises His Lordship over His church, and it is in this way that Christ’s church is built up to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. It is Tony’s prayer that the Lord will keep him faithful in this task, all the way until His coming.
